À l’occasion de Thanksgiving, ROGsamurai met à disposition une version beta d’un hack très intéressant sur lequel il travaille depuis quelques temps. Il s’agit d’offrir la possibilité d’utiliser l’émulateur Nintendo64 de Super Mario 3D All-Stars pour lancer Zelda Ocarina Of Time, Master Quest et Majora’s Mask. L’avantage étant qu’il est bien plus complet et moins buggué que celui proposé dans le cadre du Nintendo Online. Parfait donc pour profiter comme il se doit de ces chef-d’œuvre intemporels. Le hack est fourni sous la forme d’un patch romfs, à décompresser tel quel à la racine de la microSD et utilisable uniquement avec le Custom Firmware Atmosphère. Vous devrez bien évidemment fournir vous-même les roms (US uniquement) des jeux (convertis en Big Endian et placés à un endroit précis, voir readme ci-dessous).
Le jeu Super Mario 3D All-Stars doit évidemment être installé sur votre console…

Attention, pour l’heure, un bug affecte les sauvegardes…plutôt embêtant pour ce type de jeu qui ne peut s’en passer. Un correctif devrait suivre assez rapidement.
